Position: Access Control Security Guard
Number of Positions: 6
Shift: Sunday to Thursday 2300-0700
Status: Permanent
Location: Vaughan (Weston and Steeles)
Site: Data Centre-High Security
Pay Rate: $19.86/hr

Site: Our client is one of the largest data, cloud data, gaming and computer companies in the world. If you are a tech savvy person or someone that is interested in technology, this is the site for you.

Job Duties: Perform access control provision duties including hand held metal detection wand searches on client employees. This position requires sitting for long periods at a desk. Monitor metal detection equipment for any performance issues and ensure that the wand search equipment is in operable condition. Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following prior to an interview:

  • Valid Ontario Security Licence
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate
  • 2 years security experience. Preferably at a site with access control being the main focus of their job duties.
  • Drivers Licence with a car (Site is bus accessible but may require walking from the bus stop)
  • Must be able to meet the requirements for a Federal Reliability Clearance through the Government of Canada.
