As a Commissary Waiter/Waitress, you will provide friendly and efficient service to customers in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers and presenting them with menus as they are seated
  • Answering any questions about menu items, ingredients or food preparation
  • Taking and delivering food and drink orders accurately and promptly
  • Checking in regularly and refilling beverages
  • Delivering checks and accepting payment once customers have completed their meals


To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a commissary staff member at our resort, your core duties will center around providing high quality service to our guests. You will work as part of a team to ensure that the dining areas and facilities are clean, well-stocked, and running efficiently at all times.

Specifically, in this role you will:

  • Greet guests, take food and drink orders, serve meals and clear tables in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and arrange table settings before guests are seated, including cutlery, glassware, napkins, condiments, etc.
  • Maintain a polite, friendly and professional manner with all guests at all times. Provide recommendations and address any concerns or complaints promptly and courteously.
  • Assist in cleaning the dining areas, kitchen and storage areas. This includes sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash receptacles, wiping down tables and chairs, etc.
  • Ensure beverage stations, buffets and service areas are kept clean, well-stocked and presentable. Refill items as needed.
  • Follow all food safety procedures and protocols. Adhere to hygiene and uniform standards set by the resort at all times.
  • Other general cleaning and preparation tasks as assigned to assist in the smooth running of the commissary and dining facilities.

To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a waiter or waitress, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
